Policy Description
To ensure a consistent message and tone on UIU’s website, certain top level pages will only be edited by the Office of Communications and Marketing (OCM). In general these pages are the UIU home page, the interior level 1 pages (main pages for the audience links on the home page), and the interior level 2 pages (main pages for the global navigation menu and call-to-action buttons). In addition, certain editable sections within other interior pages are only editable by OCM. Access to all other pages and editable sections is based on which office is responsible for maintaining the applicable content.
Requests to edit pages or page sections for which a person does not have permission must be sent for approval to the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing.
