Dawn Novak was recently named the interim executive director for the Integrated Enrollment Center (IEC). Previoulsy, Novak served as the enrollment services integration coordinator to review, assess and create new procedures for operations at Upper Iowa University.
Over the last year, she has worked very closely with the AACRAO business redesign process to integrate many new processes and technology services at UIU, and has provided standard operating procedures for using these tools. The work has included training to staff and faculty in the new processes and procedures.
Novak has participated on, or chaired, various committees over the past two years including admissions module re-implementation, advising module implementation, communications flow committee, program integration committee, and program advisory committee. She will continue working on these initiatives in collaboration with Fritz Oppenlander, a retired UIU employee and process management consultant.
Novak started her UIU career as Academic Extension admissions coordinator for the Center of Distance Education. She has a bachelor's degree in management and a Master of Business Administration, both from Upper Iowa University.
