Open House at UIU-Milwaukee Center
Milwaukee, WI (September 17, 2008) - An open house will be held Wednesday, October 1, at the Upper Iowa University Milwaukee Center near State Fair Park. Hours are 5:30-8:30 p.m. and no appointments are needed. Students of all ages are encouraged to attend.
"Our new center offers tremendous opportunities for those who wish to continue their education," said Center Director Marshall Whitlock. "We offer thirteen bachelor degree programs at this state-of-the-art facility."
He added, "With evening and weekend classes and eight-week terms, we are able to help students fit an education into their busy lifestyle."
The $50 application fee will be waived for students applying during the open house. Students will have opportunities to meet with academic advisors, tour the facility, and get answers to financial aid questions. Also, door prizes and light refreshments will be offered.
"We like our open house to provide an atmosphere for prospective students to relax and enjoy themselves," said Whitlock. "It is a great chance to learn more about Upper Iowa University and all that we have to offer."
