All art alumni reunion planned during Homecoming
Rededication of Edgar Fine Arts Hall
FAYETTE (September 28, 2007) – Upper Iowa University’s (UIU) Art Department has three events planned for homecoming weekend, Oct. 12 and 13 on the Fayette campus—a reception and rededication of the newly remodeled Edgar Fine Arts Hall, and an all Art alumni reunion and art show. These three events are open and free to the public.
The rededication is Friday, Oct. 12 at 3:30 p.m. Guest speaker is Dennis Dake, a UIU alumnus and professor of art at Iowa State University. Dake will speak on the topic, “What is Art worth?” Light refreshments will be served.
The reunion will be Saturday, Oct. 13 beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Lois Bing-Davis Art Gallery in Edgar Fine Arts Hall. All Upper Iowa Art alumni are invited to participate. Light refreshments will be served.
