UIU hosts annual college fair for high school students
FAYETTE, IA (September 6, 2006) – Upper Iowa University invites all area high school students and their parents to attend its annual college fair on Monday, Sept. 18, from 9-11 a.m. in the Recreational Center on the Fayette campus. The fair is sponsored by the Iowa Association for College Admissions Counseling (IACAC) organization.
College fairs provide a supportive environment for students and parents to learn more about college options and allow them to discuss admission requirements, housing, financial aid, scholarships, internships and specific majors.
Representatives from approximately 62 post-secondary colleges, universities, vocational and technical schools will be present to speak about opportunities at their institutions.
The program is free and open to the public.
For more information about the college fair, e-mail Renee Lape at Upper Iowa University at laper@uiu.edu or call 563-425-5327.
