UIU camps for hunger
FAYETTE, Iowa (November 4, 2008) - Upper Iowa University students and staff will be camping out on the Fayette campus lawn from noon Friday, Nov. 7 until 9 am Sunday, Nov. 9 to raise awareness of hunger issues in Iowa.The volunteer group will sleep outdoors in cardboard boxes and tents, cook food over a fire, as well as collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations for local food pantries.
