Aungst hired as Sr. VP of business services and CFO
FAYETTE, Iowa (May 10, 2007) – Don Aungst has joined Upper Iowa University as senior vice president of business services and chief financial officer (CFO).
His responsibilities as senior vice president of business services include overseeing the business and financial aid offices, and supervising the facilities management, computer services, human relations and food services functions. As CFO, Aungst will be responsible for the university budget, contracts, investments, real estate, and risk management.
Aungst previously served as vice president and CFO at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio for four years. Prior to that, he was CFO at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Penn. for 18 years. He is also a long-standing member of the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers and the National Association of College and University Business Officers.
Aungst will reside in Independence, Iowa with his wife Peggy and daughters Sophie and Alezah.
