Tonight’s Community forum at Upper Iowa cancelled
Rescheduled for Feb. 15Fayette, IA (January 22, 2009) -- The Community Forum scheduled for this evening has been cancelled, due to an unexpected vote in the House Appropriations Committee to allocate $56 million in disaster assistance to businesses and individuals affected by the flood and tornadoes of 2008.
Andrew Wenthe, a co-presenter at UIU's community forum, is vice-Chair of the legislative committee above and his attendance there is necessary.
The presentation has been rescheduled for February 15 at Garbee Hall, East Café on the Fayette campus, with a reception at 5:00 p.m. followed by a presentation from 5:30-6:30.
