Peacock basketball broadcast LIVE! on NorthernSun.TV
Fayette, Iowa (January 12, 2007) -- Beginning tonight, Peacock fans can watch all the action of Upper Iowa basketball LIVE! on NorthernSun.TV, an Internet stream with True Television Resolution (equivalent to standard cable television resolution). As a result, you get the best seat in the house, no matter where you are.
Operated by Penn Atlantic Communications, games can be accessed directly from their site at www.northernsun.tv or from the Upper Iowa University Website at www.uiu.edu/athletics by clicking on the “Click Here to Watch Live Icon.”
Games can be ordered while they are being played, or in advance, by simply creating an account at PennAtlantic.com. Registration takes only a few minutes, and the cost for each individual game is only $6.50. Or, a season package to Peacock men’s or women’s action can be purchased for $65.00 apiece.
As with any new technology, there are equipment requirements. The computer must have Windows Media Player or any other media player capable of streaming Windows video, and a high-speed DSL or cable internet connection.
The color and play-by-play for the home games is supplied by Brad Wells, as KOEL 950 AM radio broadcast will be teamed up live with the video action.
We'd love to see you at all of our games, but when you can't make it to Dorman Gymnasium on the Fayette campus or a Peacock “away” game, NorthernSun.TV is the next best thing to being there. It allows you to see every minute of the action LIVE!
