AARP Driver Safety Program to be held at UIU
Fayette, Iowa (February 19, 2007) – Upper Iowa University will host an AARP Driver Safety Program on Monday, March 12 on its Fayette campus. The eight-hour refresher course is designed specifically for motorists age 50 and older. ![]()
The course provides a review of driving skills and techniques, as well as strategies and tips to help older citizens adjust to normal age-related physical changes that may affect their driving ability. Registrants are also encouraged to check with their insurance agent to see if they are eligible for a discount on their auto insurance if they successfully complete the course. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion.
