Two Peacocks named NSIC Golfers of the Week
Twenty times an Upper Iowa University student-athlete has been named NSIC Player of the Week this year.
Schmidt 4th at Peacock Spring Classic
FAYETTE, Iowa (April 11, 2008) -- Rachael Schmidt, a junior from Elk River, Minn. was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Women's Golfer of the Week, the fourth time Schmidt has earned the honor this season. 
Schmidt finished 4th at the Upper Iowa Spring Classic in Amana, Iowa, recording rounds of 83 and 85, to finish the two-day tournament with a team low total of 168. Schmidt led all NSIC golfers at the event, which included Concordia-St. Paul, Winona State, Southwest Minnesota State, and Minnesota-Crookston.
The next tournament for the Peacock women will be April 17 and 18 at the 2007-08 NSIC Women’s Golf Championship at Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton, S.D.
Dahlke Medalist at Peacock Spring Classic
FAYETTE, Iowa (April 11, 2008) -- 
Dahlke previously earned NSIC All-Conference honors, finishing sixth at the conference championship last fall.
Dahlke earned medalist honors over the weekend at the Peacock Spring Classic, firing an even-par 72 on day one and following up with a 73 for a weekend total of 145. Dahlke led all NSIC golfers at the event, which included Concordia-St. Paul, Winona State, Bemidji State, and Minnesota, Crookston.
The next tournament for the Peacock men is at Lake City, Minnesota, Sunday, Apr. 13, to compete in three separate one-day tournaments at the Jewel Golf Course. All three tournaments will be hosted by Concordia-St. Paul.
