Upper Iowa University hosts college fair

FAYETTE, Iowa (September 24, 2012) – Upper Iowa University welcomed over 250 high school students from eight area school districts to a college fair held recently at the UIU Recreation Center. Representatives from nearly 60 colleges, universities, college planning services and military branches were in attendance. The college fair is part of the Iowa College Day/College Night programs sponsored by the Iowa Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC).
UIU annually hosts the first in a series of college fairs for area high school students and their parents to provide an opportunity to explore post-secondary options and to discuss admission requirements, housing, financial aid, scholarships, internships, and specific majors.
