Upper Iowa University names Wendell Snodgrass vice president for advancement, development and alumni relations

Wendell Snodgrass is Vice President for Advancement, Development and Alumni Relations at Upper Iowa University
FAYETTE, Iowa (November 17, 2010) — Upper Iowa University has named Wendell Snodgrass as vice president for advancement, development and alumni relations.
Snodgrass, who joined the UIU staff on November 15, comes to the University from St. Francis Health Center, Topeka, Kan., where he served as executive director of the of the Health Center Foundation since 2006. Previously he was vice president for advancement at Central Methodist University, Fayette, Mo., and director of planned/major gifts and director of annual/major giving at Benedictine College, Atchison, Kan.
“We are extremely pleased to have Wendell join the UIU administrative team,” said UIU President Alan G. Walker. “He brings a wealth of experience in higher education and in successful fund raising. We know he will continue the excellent relationships that UIU has with its alumni while helping the University acquire the resources to support its strategic goals.”
Snodgrass earned his executive masters degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in history at Benedictine College. He earned an estate planning certificate from the National Planned Giving Institute at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va., and attended the Health Care Advisory Board’s Leadership Academy.
