Upper Iowa University scores hat trick with “Best Buy” rankings for 3 online degrees
FAYETTE, Iowa (March 2, 2010)—Some might call it a hat trick. Upper Iowa University has received “Best Buy” rankings from the independent review organization, GetEducated.com, for three online degree programs – the master of public administration, the regionally accredited master of business administration, and the MBA/human resource management.
GetEducated.com reviewed similar online degree programs and ranked UIU for offering a high quality distance program to a national audience at costs well below the national average.
The UIU master’s degree program in public administration was ranked 9th in affordability among 31 distance MPA programs. The national average cost for an online MPA is $19,277.
The UIU master’s degree for a master’s degree program – regionally accredited was ranked 16th in affordability among 250 distance MBA programs. The national average cost for an online MBA-regionally accredited is $22,900.
The UIU MBA program in human resources management was ranked 7th in affordability among 25 distance HR degrees. The national average cost for an online HR degree program is $22,087. This is the second year the online UIU degree in HR has been ranked as a best buy.
Upper Iowa University offers a wide array of degree programs available through online and/or independent study courses. Several others also have been designated as “Best Buys” over the past several months, including criminal justice, psychology, social science and business management.
