RN-BSN Program Curriculum
The UIU nursing program requires the successful completion of 11 courses (36 credit hours). The BSN degree requires the successful completion of a total of 120 semester hours, including transfer credit and credit for coursework completed at UIU.

Transfer Credit
Upper Iowa University accepts transfer credit from accredited community colleges and four-year colleges and universities. Not all credits for coursework completed at other institutions may be eligible for acceptance; each student’s transcript will be evaluated on an individual basis.
