Self-Paced Degree Program: The program started in 1973 and is modeled after traditional correspondence learning. The self-paced degree paper/email based program is specifically designed to make learning as flexible as possible. Using texts, study guides, and other course materials, you learn by completing specific assignments. Assignments are submitted to the instructors by email, surface mail, or fax. You may enroll in a course at any time and take up to six-months to complete the course.
Online Program: For those who prefer interaction with other students, the Online Degree Program enables completion of courses in a virtual classroom environment. You can log on to your course at any time and engage in discussions with the faculty member and your classmates. With six, eight-week terms each year, it's easier than ever to earn your degree.
Residential campus: Located in Fayette, Iowa, which is in the Upper Northeast area of Iowa. Our traditional residential campus boasts a 14:1 student teacher ratio and unique eight week terms with two at a time classes, and a variety of merit and need-based financial aid and scholarships to help our students graduate with less debt.
Nationwide learning center locations: UIU's off-campus learning centers offer evening and weekend classes that provide students the convenience to pursue new opportunities. Our learning centers offer the perfect learning environment where students feel welcome and find a new commitment to pursuing academic goals.
International locations: Upper Iowa University has been working with international partners to deliver accredited undergraduate quality education to international communities for over six years and our program continues to grow.
