Asian Graduation Ceremonies
Every year a delegation comprised of faculty, staff and administrators from the Upper Iowa University residential campus travels to Hong Kong and Malaysia to congratulate the students for their accomplishments.
The 2008 delegation: Mr. Don Aungst, Senior Vice President for Business and CFO; Dr. DeWayne Frazier, Senior Vice President for International Programs; Dr. Katherine McCarville, Assistant Professor and Commencement Marshal; Dr. Don McComb, Professor of Graphic Design; Mr. Lincoln Morris, Vice President for Enrollment Management; Ms. Pam Reinig, Vice President for MarCom; Dr. Mary Rettig, Vice President for Development; Mr. Christopher Sanders, Executive Director for International Programs; and Dr. Alan Walker, President.
Hong Kong

The 2008 graduation ceremony was held on December 7, 2008 at the Diamond Ballroom I of the Eaton Hotel in Hong Kong. Thirty undergraduate and nine graduate students participated in the graduation ceremony in Hong Kong.

The 2008 graduation ceremony was held on December 14, 2008 at the Prince Hotel & Residence in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There were approximately forty-one undergraduate students who participated in the graduation ceremony in Malaysia.
