We are excited to host the 8th Annual Giving Day, but this year – there’s an interesting twist! Team up with fellow UIU supporters from your generation and battle your way to being the top Giving Day Supporter.

Donors will then be able to select the giving option from within their generation. The generation with the largest number of donors and number of dollars over their rival generations wins and will officially be “crowned” during Homecoming 2024 at the Alumni House Tailgate Party! At the annual Alumni House Tailgate Party on October 12, 2024, special recognition will be given to the winning generations of both categories.

UIU Fund

UIU Fund support creates the opportunity to enhance the experience for UIU students year after year. It allows for the flexibility to focus on urgent needs or to engage in new avenues of teaching and resources on campus.

Refueling Station

A supplementation bar helps provide student-athletes with the best possible resources to maximize their potential as students, athletes, and most importantly, as people. Student-athletes are provided with milk, fruit, protein options, and other snacks to fuel their competitive Peacock spirit.

Academics at UIU

Supports replacing the 29-year old greenhouse named after Frank Wilder and Richard Coleman; providing transportation to urban high school students to visit the Fayette Campus to remove financial barriers; and purchasing instructional equipment such as LCD screens, interactive whiteboards, science equipment, and other classroom technologies. If you want to donate to one of these specific initiatives, please note the initiative when making your pledge.

Inauguration Fundraiser Honoring President Kathy Franken

Amidst the excitement of welcoming Kathy Franken as UIU’s 22nd President, we are delighted she has chosen to direct this Inauguration Fundraiser to support the Peacock EmpowHERment Fund. As a former female athlete and coach earlier in her career, Franken developed a deep passion for showcasing the tremendous life and leadership skills students gain by being part of a team. The Peacock EmpowHERment Fund enhances educational resources provided to Upper Iowa women’s sports programs. Gifts will help to inspire, empower, and support the success and excellence of our student-athletes, coaches, and administrators.

General Scholarships

Scholarships are an important way Upper Iowa provides students access to a high-quality education, and we welcome contributions of any size to help us continue to expand opportunities for students.
