The Upper Iowa University Advancement and Alumni Office is hosting a Team Peacock Kick-off event to celebrate the announcement of the 2010 RAGBRAI route.

6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided

The evening’s comments by Team Peacock riders Dr. Alan Walker and Bob and Betty Firth will be made between the women’s and men’s basketball games (approximately 7:30 p.m.).

During the course of the evening we will be getting information from the official RAGBRAI route announcement party that is being hosted in Des Moines on the same night. We will map our route for the July 2010 ride!

Team Peacock is also looking for riders for this July – there are a limited number of spaces available and requests to ride will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Between 2005 and 2009, Team Peacock has raised over $350,000 for student scholarships. The 2010 goal is to reach a grand total of $500,000.
