As a student in the Financial Management program, you will gain the understanding, skills, and experience necessary to succeed in this challenging and dynamic field. A solid background of general business skills and knowledge is necessary for success in a finance career. You will gain that background through completion of the required business core courses in addition to the Financial Management courses.

The Financial Management major prepares you for exciting careers in the field of finance, including work in banking, corporate finance, investments, insurance, personal financial planning, and real estate. Additionally, the major prepares you for further study finance at the graduate level.
