Ever dream of being a doctor, veterinarian or physical therapist? Turn that dream into a reality by majoring in biology at UIU. The biology major prepares you for a career in the biological sciences and for entrance into graduate programs in biology. Biology is also considered a pre professional major that prepares you for entrance into professional programs such as medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, chiropractic, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and veterinary medicine programs.
With this degree, you can pursue many career avenues. Some of the most popular choices of Upper Iowa's biology majors include: biological sciences lab and biological sciences industrial positions, graduate school in the biological sciences and professional schools.
