DII-ADAThe Division II Athletics Directors Association (DII ADA) honored 29 UIU student-athletes with the 2009-10 DII ADA Academic Achievement Award in recognition of their academic accomplishments. The NSIC Conference was represented by four member institutions: Upper Iowa University, U-Mary, Wayne State and Minnesota-Crookston, and honored a total of 127 student-athletes.

The DII ADA is the first organization of its kind to provide educational and networking opportunities; enhancement of acceptable operating standards and ethics; and establishment of the overall prestige and understanding of the profession of Division II athletics directors.
